vertical ai

a voice agent that answers every call.

it picks up on the first ring, handles the call end to end, and puts anything odd through to a person. we build one for your business, prove it against your real calls, and then run it.

what it handles

bookings and enquiriesafter hoursoverflow when the line is busylive transfer to a personoutbound and callback lists
a row of suburban shopfronts at closing time, lights still on inside
suburban shopfronts at closing. those phones ring after the door is locked.

the call you miss goes to the next name on the list.

the phone goes while you are with a customer, mid-job, or at ten past five on a friday. voicemail does not win that work back, and a person cannot sit on the phone all day. an agent that answers every time does.

the simple version

it answers at 2am the same way it answers at 2pm.

what it does on a call.

it answers, works out what the caller wants, and gets it done in the system you already use: a booking, a message, an order question, a callback. anything it cannot finish goes through to a person while the caller is still on the line. after hours it takes the detail and sends it to you.

not a phone menu

no press one for bookings. the caller talks, it answers.

we build it, and we prove it before it answers a customer.

we listen to your real calls and turn the hard ones into tests. every test checks the booking landed, in the right place, with the right details, and a second pass reads the transcript for whether it sounded like a person. we run them until they pass every time.

the same tests run over the real phone line, not just in a chat window, and they are graded exactly as hard there.

why this matters

the usual failure is an agent that sounds confident while the booking silently failed. a test catches that. a demo does not.

the platform underneath is ours.

your agent runs on meddle, which we built and operate ourselves. most australian ai shops resell someone else's platform, so when you need something the vendor never considered, they hand you a workaround. we change the platform.

meddle.sh

it writes into the system you already use.

your booking software, your crm, your calendar, your inbox. if it has an api we wire it up. if it is old enough that it has no api, we sit down with your people and build the connection, because that is a build job and building is what we do.

no rip and replace

your staff keep the software they know. the agent works the way they already do.

and when a call gets complicated.

most calls are ordinary. these are the ones that usually end in a callback, and they are where owning the platform stops being an abstract claim.

01

the caller cannot say where they are.

it texts them a map mid-call. they drop a pin, and it reads the street back to them before anyone is sent.

02

the suburb sounds nothing like it is spelled.

we teach it your streets and landmarks before it goes live, and it checks the address it heard against the real one before anything is booked.

03

they want details about an existing account.

it texts a code to the number on file and asks them to read it back. the agent never sees the code itself, so it cannot be talked into giving it away.

04

the email address gets garbled over the phone.

it stops trying to spell it out loud and texts a one-line form instead, then keeps talking while they fill it in.

why nobody else does these

each one needs something pushed back into a call already in progress. a rented platform gives you a webhook out, not an interrupt in.

if your phone does one job, it fits.

these three are where we see it most, but the test is never your industry. it is whether the calls repeat in a shape we can build around.

not on this list

tell us the job anyway. if your calls repeat, an agent can take them, whatever the trade.
a sprung timber floor and a mirrored wall with the morning light across it

appointment studios

dance, yoga and martial arts. class enquiries and bookings, taken while the instructor is on the floor.

a loading yard at first light with a truck backed up to the dock

dispatch and fleet

movers, taxis and trucking. job intake and dispatch, with the address confirmed before the driver rolls.

a suburban practice with the blinds half drawn against the afternoon

allied health practices

physio, podiatry and chiro. it texts a booking link mid-call and takes the message while the practitioner is with a patient.

we build these australia-wide.

the agent runs on australian servers and answers on your local hours, wherever you are. we scope over a call and build the same way in cairns as we do in cottesloe.
