AiDial pricing and Vertical AI pricing
AiDial's AI Receptionist plans are Core at A$149 a month for 60 calls, Scale at A$249 for 150 and Max at A$449 for 400. One call unit covers up to 10 connected minutes, and each further 10-minute block uses another. Voicemail, wrong numbers and very short connections count as a call, and unused calls do not roll over.
AiDial puts setup fees and any minimum subscription period in each customer's scope of work, so its pricing page shows neither. The page does not say whether the plan prices include GST.
Our plans are A$299 a month for 500 minutes, A$599 for 1,000 and A$999 for 2,000, with GST included. Extra minutes cost A$0.40. You can build the agent yourself with no setup fee, or pay A$2,490 once for our Launch build.
Both price lists at the same call volume
AiDial's published price is lower than ours at each of its three allowances. If AiDial's prices exclude GST, add 10 per cent, which takes Core to A$163.90, below our Starter plan at A$299.
The table converts calls to minutes at a 3-minute average call. That average is our assumption, and your own call log gives the real figure.
| Calls a month | Minutes at 3 a call | AiDial | Vertical AI |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 | 180 | A$149, Core | A$299, Starter |
| 150 | 450 | A$249, Scale | A$299, Starter |
| 400 | 1,200 | A$449, Max | A$579, Starter plus 700 minutes |
Where AiDial is the better choice
Buy AiDial if every part of the call has to run in Australia. Its pricing page lists the AI as hosted and processed in Australia on every plan. AiDial sells a Compliance Pack at A$100 a month, which adds 100 per cent Australian data residency, no overseas AI model calls and PII redaction.
Buy AiDial if you run a clinic or salon on Cliniko, Halaxy, Phorest or Simple Salon, or a trade business on ServiceM8. AiDial names all five as integrations, and our list names none of them.
AiDial costs less on its published prices at 60, 150 and 400 calls a month. Its compliance page describes seven-year retention of recordings and transcripts as built in.
Where Vertical AI is the better choice
Buy Vertical AI if you want to change the agent yourself. Every plan includes the agent editor, so you change greetings, answers and call flows when your business changes. AiDial includes one small knowledge update a billing cycle and quotes larger ones.
Buy Vertical AI if you want every price before you sign. Our plans include GST, and our build fees are published: A$2,490 for Launch and A$3,990 for Integrated. AiDial sets setup fees and any minimum term in a scope of work.
Buy Vertical AI if your business runs on a system AiDial does not name, such as Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zendesk. Our Growth plan includes CRM connectors, and AiDial scopes and quotes integrations separately.
Where each vendor processes Australian call data
AiDial's pricing FAQ says it stores data in Australian data centres in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. The pages read name no cloud provider, speech vendor or model vendor.
Our /security page shows each vendor and where it runs. Call records and call servers sit in Sydney, and AWS Bedrock runs the AI model in Sydney by default.
Cartesia runs speech recognition in the United States by default, and an agent can switch it to Deepgram in Sydney. ElevenLabs runs the default voice and Telnyx carries the phone line, both from the United States.
Questions to settle before you sign with AiDial
AiDial's own FAQ raises each point below. Get the answer in your scope of work.
- The setup fee and what it buys.
- Any minimum subscription period.
- Whether the plan prices include GST.
- Who holds the phone number when you leave. AiDial's FAQ says the number stays registered to AiDial or its provider unless you agree otherwise in writing.
- What a larger knowledge update costs, past the one small update a billing cycle.
